This quintessentially English property is located in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Featuring Doorsan’s London 6 panel Pre-finished Oak Doors alongside the fully glazed London 1 Panel design, this family home has a traditional look that is both homely and welcoming.
On the day of the photoshoot, it was a sunny spring day, with light streaming through the glass kitchen extension. These are the perfect way to create a bright, modern space and offer a combination of form and function. The home itself is actually split into two wings with different door hardware selected for each. Satin steel was used along with brass which both compliment the natural tone of the oak surface.
Where space was reduced throughout the home, for example, in the utility room, the client opted to install a pocket door kit with a fully glazed London 1 panel oak door. Pocket door kits make a great option for parts of the home that are lacking in space. A sliding door that disappears into the wall cavity, this solution also works well for cloakrooms. Some of the doors shown are actually fire doors but it is impossible to tell them apart without studying the exact door thickness. All doors were also pre-finished with Doorsan’s trademark matt open pore natural lacquer.
