Home of the famous sea salt this magnificent build is located in Maldon, Essex. It was constructed by a luxury building specialist who has won the best client service with Houzz consecutively since 2017.
The door design specified by the client was Doorsan's Smooth RAL8022 Black Brown finish Kensington doors and it is a traditional style very much in tune with this overall splendid property. Looking at the interior features of this home it’s also clear the client has very good taste. Marble is used throughout for floors, the stairs and wall panelling in the bathroom. Hanging lights are also used in conjunction with modern downlights to keep with a traditional feel and this additionally ensures that the residence enjoys maximum light and efficiency. Other aspects include a floating log burning fire which creates a modern focal point in the sitting room. White architraves are also paired with extra-large traditional skirtings that contrast and flawlessly frame the dark doors.
As we have touched on the doors selected for this project are Doorsan’s Kensington 2 panel doors and these were used along with a single 1 panel glazed version. The deceivingly narrow width of the glazed door pairs is actually due to the oversized height of the doors themselves and is noticeable only by the position of the polished chrome doorknobs. It’s a design that features heavy raised beading with a classical looking flat panel. The doors were also supplied in a 44mm thickness with traditional ironmongery for weight and elegance.
