Purchasing anything for the home can be a strange mixture of pleasure and apprehension as there are so many products to choose from these days. Sometimes complimentary components are required in addition to the item we are purchasing which throws extra decision making into the equation. A point in case is when you are choosing timber doors, which can sometimes, be daunting. Choosing the door style and type of timber can be exciting, especially when a total new home scheme is being planned. However, consideration about fitting the doors, door frames, hardware and locking systems needs careful thought, especially if you do not have a joiner or builder to assist, so this can be an anxious stage.
At Doorsan our aim is to assist customers with their technical questions and offer guidance when purchasing our timber doors. When we redesigned our website an important criteria was to display, to our customers, the additional items linked to the door they were purchasing to help them choose the other important elements they will require.
As an example:- when you have selected a door style you will notice that a section below says 'You may also like' , this displays other doors in the range, suitable frames and suggested hardware. Of course the handles and other hardware will be your personal choice, we offer suggestions, as a guide. However, when you click onto the hardware picture you will see graphic images denoting the type of hardware available in the range and by using the Drop Down selection you can see the different lever types for bathroom thumbturns and locks. There are also related hardware packs to make choosing hardware easier as they include all you need for fitting your chosen type of door, including hinges and locks or latches.
After viewing our website you may still need to discuss your order, our sales team will be happy to help you and offer the time schedules for the products you choose. Remember don't worry about the little details, the website will help but if further information is needed give us a ring armed with the door opening measurements to discuss your options.
