If you are thinking of buying internal doors, here are some things to consider…
Door Material
Internal doors are available in a number of materials. Most popular within our collection are the unfinished oak doors as these are modern and stylish however it is particularly important to follow our Finishing Instructions to protect your oak door and guarantee a long life. Prefinished white doors are also popular as they are light and will suit a variety of interior styles. Hardwood doors are a good choice if you have a particular colour in mind for your internal doors. The door featured in the photo on the right is the Monza oak door which is available in a number of sizes and there are fire door options.
Door Size
There are a number of standard sizes for internal doors. A common size for internal doors is height of 78” (1981mm) and width of 30” (762mm). Typical thickness for an internal door is 35mm. You will need to check the sizes available for different doors as these will vary for each door model. If you have unusual sized door frames then you may need to order custom doors in bespoke sizes. This may take some time as the doors will be custom made for your measurements so it is best to order in plenty of time.
Door Style
Internal doors are a key part of your interior design scheme and you will want to choose doors that complement your overall style in your home.
Whether your property style is modern or traditional, Doorsan offers a wide range of internal doors to suit a vast variety of tastes.
