We often find, at Doorsan, that when helping customers with their new door style choices, that some couples may have differing ideas. This is often part of the natural process of filtering out their thoughts and ideas and occurs for many reasons, as choosing and decorating a home is about compromise and often their tastes may be polar opposites. We particularly notice this when couples come to our showroom, their visit will be mainly to check out the styles seen on the website but importantly to check out the finer details and the quality of our products. Understandably, this applies to local customers or ones who are purchasing a large quantity of our doors and feel the need to see the genuine product. Rest assured, if you are purchasing remotely via the website, we will do all we can to help you visualise the products we sell and often send a close up photograph of a door if it is in the showroom. Occasionally we might even take a photograph you supply and manipulate the image with our software to include your selected door.
Many queries crop up during discussion, both in person and over the phone. We try to offer practical solutions, we would never presume to suggest a design because we think it is appropriate. The customer knows what they like we will only offer suggestions and explain the possibilities if we feel the customer is wanting. We do, however, make sure the they are aware of the important technical attributes of the manufacturing and give advice on important finishing information.
Below are some considerations customers mention on a regular basis:
Historical properties requiring a special style and maybe bespoke door size
A Period Home with modern furniture
Eclectic tastes
Modern home with family antique pieces
1960’s property
